Harbor Freight Gives Back
One of our Values is Community. We strive to support and strengthen
the communities where we live, work and serve. We support veterans through volunteer activities that support VA hospitals with meal programs and create care packages for veterans who need hats, gloves and blankets and other basic
supplies.
To meet needs for housing, mental health and other supports, Harbor Freight Tools Foundation, LLC, part of The Smidt Foundation, has been a consistent annual supporter of U.S.VETS and the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans. The foundation has provided unrestricted funding – leaving the organizations’ leaders to determine how to best deploy these funds to care for veterans’ well-being and to help them find employment, housing and care. The foundation also funds the Travis Manion Foundation, which supports a national network where veterans, families of fallen soldiers and civilians can stay actively engaged in meaningful community service.
